Industrial
Ecology Forum 2007
Following the ecoBiz Conference a separate specialist one
day technical forum on industrial ecology will be staged,
examining the benefits that can be realised through industrial
ecology principles. View the Industrial
Ecology Forum 2007 program.
Industrial ecology is an emerging holistic environmental
management system that views industrial systems as interdependent
ecosystems. It seeks to optimise the flows of energy, materials
and wastes by identifying and supporting synergies between
the organisations within that system.
Industrial Ecology 2007 is expected to attract national
attention with an attendance of around 100 delegates from
across government and industry. The keynote address for
the forum will be provided by our international guest speaker,
Mr Ernest Lowe, Chief Executive Officer of Indigo Development,
based in California.
