The Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre is the venue for the ecoBiz 2007
Conference. Located in South Bank, the heart of Brisbane's cultural, arts, entertainment and
tropical lifestyle scene, the Centre provides a relaxing atmosphere after the day’s program.

The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre is Australia’s most awarded venue and is officially ranked
among the world’s top three convention centres by the highly respected Association Internationale des Palais de Congres (AIPC).

Commitment to sustainability
The Centre’s commitment to a sustainable environment focuses on the core issues of reducing waste and improving water and energy efficiency. A long standing key element of the Centre’s environmental policy has been its participation in the Federal Government’s Greenhouse Challenge Program. The Centre is also located within the South Bank Precinct, which has implemented a sustainability strategy to ensure environmentally sustainable design practices in the management of the assets and infrastructure of the precinct.
